She is particularly adept at advising on brownfield redevelopment, remediation strategies, and permit compliance. Her expertise also extends to guiding clients on renewable energy options, project permitting, and siting obligations. Moreover, she excels in advising clients about solutions to environmental problems and protecting the interests of buyers and sellers during complex business and real estate transactions.
Attorney Boye-Williams has over 20 years of experience representing municipalities, real estate developers, manufacturers, and lenders. Her background gives her the background and insights necessary to assist clients in reaching agreements with other parties and stakeholders in renewable energy project transactions and regulatory matters.
Outside of her professional legal activities, Patti is deeply committed to serving the community where she lives. Her dedication is evident in her roles as a Farmington Land Trust Board member and the elected Representative of the Second District of Farmington on the Farmington Town Council. Before practicing law, Patti educated and trained “citizen scientists” to monitor Illinois forest, wetland, and prairie habitats.
Patti’s journey is as impressive as her professional one. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and a Juris Doctor from the Illinois Institute of TechnolTechnology’so-Kent College of Law. She is admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut.
